Foundation Day of Bodo Sahitya Sabha
This Programme which marks the foundation of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, an apex literary organization of the Bodos, is celebrated by the Department of Bodo with lecture programme on eminent and upcoming Bodo writers. The Foundation Day of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha is a special event which is organized by the Bodo Department within the Campus involving the students. It is celebrated on 16th of November, every year.

Martyrs Day of Bodo sahitya Sabha (28th September)
The martyrs of the Roman Script movement which had been initiated by the Bodo Sahitya so that Roman script could be used for the Bodo language, are remembered on this day. Ceremonial lamps and the contributions of the martyrs are cited on the occasion. The Department of Bodo shows its gratitude to the martyrs on this Day annually.

Bijwng Sun (Bodo Medium Day) - 18th May
This Day is a historical day for the Bodos as the Bodo medium was accepted as a medium of instruction in the School level. This day had been possible due to the efforts of countless people who knew that language is an essential and unalienable trait associated with a tribe. The Bodo Department as such celebrates this Day annually.

Pre-Bwisagu Celebration (April Month)
This is an annual event which is celebrated with the involvement of the staff and students of the Bodo Department as well as the College at large. The objective is to make the students aware of the importance of tradition in the preservation of identity of a race.
